Hello my lovely blog, long time no see 😀 Just a quick update, which I take from a report I wrote for 母と学生の会. Jadi ceritanya minggu lalu, tepatnya tanggal 23-25 Oktober 2010, saya ikut trip, menjelajah Jepang bagian barat. Here we go…
Title (タイトル) : 3 Days Escape from Tokyo
Name (お名前) : Reisha Humaira (レイシャ フマイラ)
Nation (国名) : Indonesia (インドネシア)
University (大学名) : Waseda University (早稲田大学)
Last month, a friend told me that there is a trip to Gifu at the end of November. That time, I didn’t think joining that trip because I thought I would be busy with my courses and my master admission in my campus. But several days later, I changed my mind. I just thought that I wanted to have 旅行 😀
The day came, I went to Tokyo station early in the morning. Then we got on Shinkansen Asama to Ueda Station at Nagano. It was my first time to ride Shinkansen in Japan since I came to Japan on April 2010. Great.
On the way to Hidatakayama, I saw hills outside. Just ordinary view, because my hometown in Indonesia is also surrounded by hills and also mountains. But when I saw hills with yellowish and reddish leaves, I was really excited. That was one thing that I couldn’t find in Indonesia since Indonesia is tropical country.
First day, we visited Hidatakayama and Shirakawago. I really like Shirakawago. When I saw a photo frame that contained Shirakawago’s picture on winter, I thought it would be great seeing Shirakawago on winter. I was surprise seeing the thick houses roof. It reminded me to several traditional houses in Indonesia which roof are made from fibre of palmtree.
Second day, we visited Wajima, Noto, and Tojinbo. It was my first time seeing cliff in the shore of sea of Japan. Really beautiful. Having lunch at a restaurant at Noto Peninsula was also great. I sat close to the window so I could enjoy the scenery when I had my lunch. Tojinbo cliff also nice, but maybe it would be more beautiful if it was sunny.
At night, we stayed at Japanese style hotel. Great and really really excited. I’ve never experience it before. We also wore Yukata, which was also my first time. The food was reallyいっぱい. I also really enjoyed the presentation time, watched everyone doing performance to introduce their country. And I was also really happy I could dance there, introduce one dance from my hometown, West Sumatra.
The last day, we had city tour in Kanazawa eventhough it was rain. We visited Kanazawa Gold Leaf, Kenrokuen Garden, Omicho Market, and Nagamachi Samurai House District. And at night, we backed to Tokyo. Backed to the real life. Felt like I didn’t want to back, I still want to have trip ^^v
After arriving home, I realized that I was really lucky joining that trip. The places we visited are great, and it would be difficult if I tried to go there by myself, and of course would be more expensive. Met really kind 母, new friends from various countries, ate various foods are also great moments. I hope I could join another trip with 母と学生の会 later.
